Jilali Maazouz is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery and is based in the Firm’s Paris office.  He focuses his practice on labor and employment, commercial litigation and international trade.

Jilali litigates and provides counsel on behalf of companies in civil, criminal and administrative matters. He advises businesses on employment issues such as termination, discrimination, harassment, restrictive covenants breaches, strikes and other collective conflicts.

Jilali regularly represents French businesses and associations and French affiliates of European, U.S., Canadian, Middle East, North African and Asian multinational corporations.

He counsels clients on the labor and employment aspects of their domestic and transnational commercial and corporate transactions, as well as on their due diligence investigations, audits, employment contracts, restructuring plans, reductions in force, separation agreements, workplace policies and best practices.

He also has experience in guiding clients through the opportunities and obstacles posed when trading internationally.
